"Thoughts Mostly On Film" Is Lost in the Woods
Dear Reader -
As you read this, I’m ensconced in a lodgepole pine forest at 11,000 feet in Colorado, with no cell or internet service. The air is clean and the view is tremendous. This morning, three gray jays flew in to say hello as I was drinking my coffee, and there was an inquisitive chipmunk trying to steal morsels from my breakfast. I’m thinking about taking a nap soon. How am I writing this, you ask, if I have no access to technological facilities? Magic, dear reader, magic. (Otherwise known as pre-scheduled email.)
Anyway, assuming I make it down off the mountain in one piece, I’ll be back next Friday with another missive. Until then, if you’d like to take a look at some of the greatest hits from the last year, here they are:
Want to know how to deal with Nazis in a comedy?
Yearning to read about our dear old friend John McClane?
Mystified by auteur theory?
Have a itch to investigate film noir?
Like thinking about horror films?
